Maryland Gov. Wes Moore (D) signed a bill Thursday creating a state-level gun control center to mirror the federal Gun Violence Prevention Agency created by the Biden administration.
Associated Press report “Maryland has become the first state in the nation to formally respond to President Biden’s call,” Moore said at the signing ceremony, praising the creation of the Gun Control Center.
Democrats touted the center as a way to “facilitate statewide partnerships with federal and local agencies to reduce gun violence.”
Moore signed two other gun control bills Thursday, WMDT I got it.One of them was House Bill 947, which aimed to “hold bad actors in the firearms industry accountable.”
Another gun control is House Bill 810, which would ban devices that Democrats classify as “Glock switches.”
Breitbart News reported in March that the Democratic-run city of Chicago partnered with Mike Bloomberg’s Everytown for Gun Safety to sue gun company Glock over the proliferation of the Glock Switch. It was reported on the 19th that Chicago and Everytown cited China as one of the sources. Regarding Auto Sears, a core component of Glock switches, the extent of China’s alleged involvement in disseminating such switches to the United States was not explained.

They are illegal for most gun owners in the United States, but they are being shipped in boxes by the “thousands” from China.
