Masked individuals drive car into California jewelry store during theft

Daytime Jewelry Store Heist in Anaheim Hills

Surveillance footage reveals a brazen theft at a jewelry store in Anaheim Hills, California. In broad daylight, a car smashed through the front door, allowing masked thieves to quickly ransack display cases before escaping in two getaway vehicles. These vehicles were later involved in crashes during a police chase.

The camera captured two men sitting inside the store just before the theft. Suddenly, a vehicle hurtled through the glass door, shattering it and ruining the frame. The subsequent footage shows three suspects in black clothing and masks as they hurriedly rifled through display cases, while a fourth individual kept watch at the entrance.

A customer near the front, seemingly shocked, was seen holding a cell phone as the chaos erupted. All four suspects then fled with merchandise, exiting through the destroyed entrance and making their escape in a white vehicle. Interestingly, another man inside the store briefly reappeared in the video, surveying the damage.

While the footage shows only four individuals, authorities believe as many as eight were involved. Store owner Ramsey Tabero recounted the frightening incident, stating, “Eight to 10 men rushed in with masks, trash cans, crowbars, and hammers and smashed all the display cases. My gun was on the table, and they grabbed my gun, and at that point, I thought I was going to get shot.”

During the pursuit, both getaway vehicles collided—one crash involving several vehicles and the second occurring about five minutes later. Investigators managed to recover a tray of stolen jewelry from one of the vehicles.

In the aftermath, all the suspects involved in the crashes fled on foot, but at least five were apprehended by police.
