Exclusive: Republican lawmakers in California are pushing to reverse statewide policies that allow biological men to play in women's sports as Daily Wire's Matt Walsh is expected to testify before elected officials at Tuesday's hearing.
California State Assemblyman Bill Essay introduced AB 844. This is based on biological sex, as students seek to participate in sports programs and activities and use facilities, including bathrooms, locker rooms, showers and hotel accommodations.
In California, the law is called AB 1266 It has been in effect since 2014, giving students and university-level students the right to participate in school programs and activities of gender, including athletic teams and competitions, and to use facilities that match his or her gender identity, regardless of the gender listed in the student's records.

“I think Democrats will double-justify this bill tomorrow,” an essay about fighting everything from illegal immigration to soft crime policies with Democratic-controlled state legislatures told Fox News Digital. “They want to create a public scene from that so they can become their progressive-based heroes.”
The bill will hold a hearing Tuesday through the Arts, Entertainment, Sports and Tourism Commission. Walsh, a conservative activist who criticized the inclusion of biological men in women's sports, will testify in favor of the law.
According to a fact sheet provided to Fox News Digital, the bill ensures that competitive equity and student privacy and dignity are protected by restoring biological sex-based distinctions between school athletics and facilities. It also provides clarity to school administrators and staff by establishing clear and enforceable statewide policies and protecting the integrity of Title IX.

A conservative activist, Walsh not only allowed children to play women's sports, but also opposed child sex change surgery and treatment.
“Girls shouldn't have to compete with boys or be replaced next door in the locker room. This isn't complicated,” Walsh, the creator's podcast host in the Daily Wire documentary's “What Is a Woman” documentary, told Fox News Digital. “Even Gavin Newsom admits that it's unfair now after sniffing the political winds. Let's stop pretending that California Democrats can stop pretending and follow his sudden, basic truth rediscovery.”
California Regulation Code Section 4910(k) defines gender as follows:

Ezaseili noted that Republican lawmakers are mostly paralyzed when it comes to policymaking in the state capital, Sacramento, given that Democrats control the majority of both governments.
“There's no common sense in Sacramento,” he said. “There is a lot to do.
