Max Homa hilarity ensues at Phoenix Open amid merciless weather delays

Max Homa continues to show off his humor on X (formerly Twitter) after finding a tee time for the second round of the WM Phoenix Open.

Due to Thursday’s weather and Friday’s frost, the second round will be moved to Saturday. Homa received an email saying the second round would begin at 5:33 p.m. local time.Sunset in Scottsdale, Arizona is scheduled for 6:07 p.m.

Obviously, he and his playing partners Brian Herman and Jordan Spieth will only be able to get in a few holes. They are not alone either, as most of the field had not finished the second round by the end of Friday.

This text inspired Ryder Cup stars to show off their performances. comedic genius.

“It would be like showing up to a bar 15 minutes before it closes. You probably won’t have enough time to have a lot of fun, but every interaction with people will be both alarming and hilarious.” he wrote.

Many of us have probably gone to a bar just before closing time, not knowing what kind of characters there are. Since it’s the WM Phoenix Open, many people can say that this event and bar closing times go hand in hand.

The PGA Tour is prone to weather delays. Last week at AT&T Pebble Beach in his Pro-Am, Windham Clark was deemed the winner after just 54 holes.

Unfortunately, all of this week’s delays will likely continue until Sunday’s Super Bowl. It’s not good for the tournament, it’s not good for golf fans, it’s not good for the sport itself.
