Mayorkas Imported 5M Illegals, Outpacing Annual U.S. Births

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has brought 5 million illegal aliens to the United States in three years, an alien population that exceeds the annual births in the United States, Mark Greene said. said Congressman (R-Tenn.).

House Homeland Security Committee Chair Greene began impeachment hearings against Mayorkas on Wednesday. In his opening statement, Mr. Green detailed Mr. Mayorkas' extensive catch-and-release network. In this network, DHS processes 85 percent of reported illegal aliens for a short period of time before releasing them into American society.

“Multiple sources have confirmed that Secretary Mayorkas has acknowledged that the release rate for illegal aliens is currently approximately 85 percent,” Green said.

Overall, the DHS numbers show: Under Secretary Mayorkas' watch, well over 3 million illegal aliens were released into our country..consider 1.8 million known vacationsand that's roughly the population of South Carolina. [Emphasis added]

The numbers suggest that Mr. Mayorkas released more illegal aliens into American society from 2021 to 2023 than the number of babies born annually in the United States (less than 4 million).

The majority of these illegal aliens released on parole will eventually secure work permits to take American jobs. That would be a boon for big corporations, Wall Street and real estate investors who are trying to inflate the labor market and keep wages low. Influence the population to drive demand for housing and increase the supply of consumers to whom products can be sold.

Green also noted that the rate at which DHS never detains illegal aliens at the southern border has skyrocketed under Mayorkas compared to former President Barack Obama's leadership.

In 2013, [the] According to DHS's own numbers, the Obama administration detained 82 percent of illegal aliens from the moment they were encountered until sentencing, and another 9 percent were detained for at least part of that time. .

In Mayorkas' first year in office, that number dropped from 82 percent to just 10 percent. The number of illegal aliens who were not detained at all jumped from 9% in 2013 to 64% in 2021.. In a court opinion earlier this year, federal Judge Kent Wetherell wrote, “The evidence suggests that in late January or early February 2021, [the] DHS has changed its detention policy on a case-by-case basis to release people only if there is a compelling reason to do so, and release them unless there is a compelling reason to do so. ” [Emphasis added]

On Monday, Mayorkas visited the U.S.-Mexico border and urged Congress to approve President Joe Biden's billions of dollars in additional funding to bus more border crossers and illegal aliens into the country. I asked for it.

“Some people have accused [the] DHS failed to enforce our laws. This couldn’t be further from the truth,” Mayorkas said.
