McDonald's is America's favorite fast food restaurant, and people are searching for Illinois-based chains online in more states than any other facility.
This is based on a survey conducted by commercial restaurant furniture manufacturers based on average monthly internet searches in the region.
Restaurant Furniture used Google search data over a 12-month period to determine average monthly searches.

According to the data, McDonald's led the way in more than 148.8 million monthly searches nationwide.
“The average monthly search volume over the last 12 months has been analyzed to rank status by frequency of these searches,” a manufacturer's representative told Fox News Digital.

People in 22 states searched more of McDonald's than other fast food restaurant chains, data revealed.
McDonald's was the most searched fast food restaurant chain in Alaska, Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Alaska. Wisconsin.

The pizza location was another popular search, the study showed.
Domino came second, but Pizza Hut and Papa John were tied for a search fifth.

On average, Domino's conducted over 11.6 million searches per month.
Louisiana was one of the 14 states where Domino was the most searched chain.

Pizza Hut was the most searched fast food facility in Kansas, while Papa John's was the top search facility in Kentucky, with its headquarters located and the first pie served.

Chick-fil-A came in third, with a monthly average search of over 11.2 million people averaged.
Seven states, including Georgia, where Chick Phil A has its headquarters, and South Carolina and Virginia, produced most of the search.

Starbucks was the fourth most searched facility on a monthly average of over 10.6 million.

Starbucks-based California, New York and Washington were among the six states that earned the most searches than any other coffee chain.
Some outliers included Chipotle, Little Caesar and Taco Bell.

Chipotle was the third-established fast food chain in Ohio, behind MacDonald's and Domino's.

In Michigan, Detroit-based Little Caesars was the second fast food chain to search, while Taco Bell was the third.
Taco Bell also ranked third in Alaska, behind MacDonald's and Domino's.
