McNeese State recorded its first upset of March Madness in 2025.
And they weren't afraid to let that know on the streets of Providence, Rhode Island.
The Cowboys won a 69-67 victory over Clemson at the Amica Mutual Pavilion, and the team was then seen beating New England streets blowing up team manager Rio da Yong OG's “Shake Back” and the virus-sensing “Shake Back.”
Head coach Will Wade said this was something the team did even before they beat the Tigers.
“Our hotel is within walking distance so today we took Providence by storm. Amir led us to the block with his box with his music. People were looking at us like nuts.
Khan, also known as “Aura,” became something of a cult hero and internet star during McNeece's March run.
“It means the world to me for McNee to win in the insanity of March,” Kern told Fox Sports after the victory. “I didn't really expect any attention as a manager, so that means a lot to receive all the love and support over the last few weeks.”
McNeese held Clemson to just 13 points in the first half in his first NCAA Tournament victory.
The Cowboys will then play Purdue on Saturday.
