Cute encounters in New York After a couple who met on the streets of New York posted a video recounting the sweet story of how they first met, the three people behind the popular social media account recalled one of the most daring pick-up lines they’ve ever heard: a man feeding a woman he’d never met cold pasta.
On the three-hour drive to East Hampton, Lance picked up food from his favorite restaurant, Cafe Bachi in Westbury, Long Island, and delivered it to Serafina, East Hampton’s “local watering hole.”
While he was eating, his eye fell on “super cute” Hailey.
She thought he was “super hot.”
“So I asked her if she wanted to try my pasta, and I actually forced her to eat it,” Lance said in the video.

“I was at her sister’s wedding and my dad collapsed on the dance floor and passed away,” Jay explained in the interview.
“The first time I saw him, he was crouched on the floor next to his father,” Gayle continued.
The men recalled the shock they felt when they heard the story.
“It was insanity,” said Feinberg, 29, a Williamsburg resident originally from the Upper West Side.
“At first, I honestly thought, ‘Are they just joking?'” recalled Bernstein, 30, a Williamsburg resident also from the Upper West Side.

The most quintessential Big Apple love story they’d heard, they said, involved Sway, a delicatessen owner in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, and his customer, Kenesha.
“When I see this couple, I think, ‘This is New York,'” Feinberg said.
When asked how they first met, Kenesha responded, “We live in the same neighborhood,” to which Sway replied, “She’s lying.”

Some singles experience divine intervention in their journey to find a spouse, and the men said they’ve met “quite a few” faithful people with whom they’ve fallen in love thanks to the church.
They said one story that particularly stuck with them was about Ashley, a social worker who saw Josh playing the organ at church and fell in love with him.
“A Christian sister invited me to her church because she wanted me to pay attention to him, and he was playing the organ… there was something special about that music,” Ashley says excitedly in the video.
“She actually loves this video,” Lee says, “the moment she heard him play the organ she fell in love with him.”

The “Meet Cutes” team asked President Biden to share how he met First Lady Jill.
The boys were shocked when they received what they thought was a fake letter via the White House’s website contact page.
“It was probably two days after we actually launched the website, and I thought, ‘There’s no way someone from the White House would submit a form,'” Lee said.
“Then I did a LinkedIn search and found out she was the digital director for the White House,” Feinberg added.
In the video, which has been viewed more than 23 million times, the president revealed, “My brother set me up on a blind date. He said, ‘I went to school with this girl. You’ll like her. She’s beautiful and she doesn’t like politics.'”

Cristina and Flavio, originally from Brazil, first met in an office elevator while both were working at Citibank, and their interview struck a chord with viewers.
“Tell him why you liked me,” Cristina told her husband during the interview. “That smile,” Flavio replied with a laugh.
“I think that video got over 100 million views on Instagram,” Lee said. “It was one of those videos that I didn’t expect to be such a hit.”
They said the popularity was down to the couple themselves, as stories of people meeting at work are not uncommon.
“I hope the audience can feel the love between the couple,” Feinberg says, “and it just adds to that indefinable quality between them.”
