Meet the jurors who will deliver the verdict in Trump’s hush money trial

All eyes are now on the 12-person Manhattan jury that will decide the verdict in Donald Trump’s hush money criminal trial.

The jury – five women and seven men – has heard evidence in the historic case for five weeks and began deliberating Wednesday on whether Trump is guilty of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records brought against him by the Manhattan district attorney’s office.

They will hear salacious testimony from porn star Stormy Daniels, who alleges she once slapped the potential 2024 Republican presidential nominee with a rolled-up magazine, and will also consider whether Trump’s TikTok-obsessed fixer Michael Cohen is a credible witness.

The anonymous jurors gave statements in court during three days of jury selection in April that shed light on who they are.

Here’s what we know about each one:

Juror 1

Juror 1 is the jury foreman.

He works in sales and lives in West Harlem.

He said he gets his news from The New York Times, Fox News and MSNBC.

In response to questioning from attorney Todd Blanche, he said he had “no opinion whatsoever” about Trump and that he had “heard about” some of the charges the former president faces in other criminal cases.

Juror 2

Juror 2 works in the finance industry and lives in Hell’s Kitchen with his wife.

He loves hiking, music, going to concerts, and enjoying life in the Big Apple.

The investment banker revealed that he follows former Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway, as well as Michael Cohen, a key witness for the prosecution, on X, and that he also follows Trump’s Truth Social posts.

When asked by Trump lawyer Susan Necheles if he had strong feelings about Trump, he replied, “You know, I may not like some of his policies, but some of them have been good for the country. So it’s a conflicting feeling, and it applies to both sides.”

Juror 3

Juror 3 is a young lawyer who has lived in Chelsea for five years.

He said he enjoys hiking and running and gets his news from The Times, The Wall Street Journal and Google, but doesn’t read too much.

“Unfortunately, I don’t follow the news that closely. It’s a bit embarrassing,” the man told Blanche.

“I’m freezing,” he told one of Trump’s lawyers during jury selection proceedings.

Juror 5

Juror No. 5 is from Harlem and is a middle school teacher.

She described herself as a “creator at heart” when explaining her passion for photography and photography.

She told Blanche that she appreciates the way Trump “speaks his mind.”

“He stirs things up. He speaks his mind. You can’t criticize him for speaking his mind,” she said.

She then added that Trump “just speaks. You can’t blame him for speaking. He says what he wants to say. I want to say things to people, but my mother told me to be nice. So that’s it.”

Juror 6

Juror No. 6 is a software engineer who lives in Chelsea with a roommate.

In her free time, she said she likes dancing, snowboarding and watching TV.

She said she probably has “different beliefs” than Trump but doesn’t begrudge him.

“This is a free country,” she said. “We can think certain things and that’s fine. I think I can look at this person as someone on trial, as another American citizen, and not as someone on trial for this person, a former president, but I just go with what’s been presented to me.”

Juror 7

Juror 7 is a civil litigation lawyer who lives on the Upper East Side.

He likes to read the Post as well as other news papers such as the Times, the Journal and the Washington Post.

Juror 9

Juror No. 9 is also a speech therapist who lives on the Upper East Side.

She said she doesn’t watch or follow any news “intensely,” but had harsh words for President Trump.

“While I don’t agree with many of his politics or decisions as president, I have spent the last two days reflecting and trying to put that aside and be a completely impartial juror, and I feel I can do that,” she said.

Juror 10

Juror No. 10 works in commerce and lives in Murray Hill.

He said he enjoys spending time outdoors with animals.

He said he listens to podcasts about behavioral psychology and doesn’t have a strong opinion about Trump.

While she said she doesn’t have a strong opinion about Trump, “[didn’t] His persona, the way he presents himself in public.”

“The way he presents himself in public, and I’d like to think that’s how he wants to appear going forward, he comes across as very self-centered and egotistical and self-centred, so I really don’t appreciate that sort of attitude in any public servant,” she said.

“So I don’t know him as a person, so I don’t know what his integrity is or what his personal life is like, but the way he behaves in public and the way he presents himself in public doesn’t seem to sit well with me.”

Juror 12

Juror 12 is a physical therapist who lives on the Upper East Side and enjoys running and tennis.
