Country singer Megan Moroney is generating buzz after being spotted with her phone’s lock screen on display following the recent Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The image seems to show her alongside U.S. soccer player Christian Pulisic.
Speculation about a potential romance has been circulating since July, and these new photos could suggest that they are indeed dating.
The lock screen features a picture of Moroney with her arms around Pulisic, who is dressed in a white T-shirt in the snapshot.
The pairing first caught attention when they were seen together at a rooftop bar in Nashville in July. This was followed by a post from a Pulisic fan account on Instagram, which showed the soccer star attending one of Moroney’s concerts in Florida with a family member.
Further rumors persisted when Moroney shared pictures from her trip to Italy, which included a stop in Milan—the city where Pulisic plays for A.C. Milan.
As of now, both Pulisic and Moroney have not officially commented on the relationship chatter.
Pulisic ended his two-year relationship with golfer Alexa Melton earlier this year. That split hit the headlines when Melton accused him of infidelity before retracting those claims shortly after.
In May, during an interview with Time, he spoke fondly of Melton, saying, “I only look at her in the most positive way. She was a lot of fun, and she supported me in every way.” He expressed gratitude for her encouragement to enjoy life more.
Currently, Pulisic is focused on regaining his form after dealing with injuries sustained during the World Cup. He wasn’t part of the roster for the U.S. men’s national team during the recent international matches as he continues to rehabilitate.
Earlier this year, there were also rumors about his future at A.C. Milan, with the MLS team New York City FC showing interest in bringing him back to the States.
A.C. Milan is keen on retaining him. His current contract expires at the season’s end, but the club has an option to extend it for another year.
Pulisic mentioned in early October that he is “very happy at Milan right now and for the near future as well,” indicating he’s not overly concerned about contract negotiations at the moment: “I want to stay at Milan.”
