Meghan Markle is accused of plagiarism by the British Children’s author who says it is the cancelled Netflix animated series for The Duchess. Pearlhad strong similarities to her own book series.

Elliott’s lawyer said in his letter, “The similarities between the proposed animation series and my client’s work seem too impressive to be merely coincidence.”
“There was no response,” Elliott said. “I sent out more lawyer letters, and then when I saw Netflix remove the series. Pearl. ”
“I was glad it was dropped, but it was sad that it wasn’t my idea anymore, because if I were to work on that idea it would look like I’d copied it from Meghan,” lamented the author.
