“She was definitely in networking mode,” a source revealed to Page Six on Monday, adding that the Duchess of Sussex, 44, was seen getting along with several influential figures. The insider described her as “cool.”
Markle’s representatives did not reply to requests for comment from Page Six.
Jenner’s birthday bash took place at the impressive mansion of Jeff Bezos in Beverly Hills, with a James Bond theme. A host of A-list celebrities attended, including Lauren Sanchez, Mariah Carey, Justin Bieber, Hailey Bieber, Oprah Winfrey, and more.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z made a discreet entrance, slipping in through a hidden doorway to evade the media’s watchful eyes.
Markle and Prince Harry appeared to be in high spirits as they arrived, hand-in-hand and smiling. Markle wore a sleek black long-sleeve top paired with a matching maxi skirt, while Harry was decked out in a tuxedo.
Inside, Markle and Kim Kardashian were seen posing together in a now-deleted photo shared on Kardashian’s Instagram. Jenner also posted a touching picture with the couple, which has since been removed from her social media as well.
Despite their cheerful presence, insiders from the royal family expressed surprise over Markle and Harry’s participation in the event. One source suggested that their attendance exemplified how distanced Prince Harry has become from his family.
