Megyn Kelly reacts to Ilhan Omar’s daughter Isra Hirsi arrest

Megyn Kelly has accused Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s daughter of complaining about being left homeless and without food after she was arrested for participating in an anti-Israel demonstration at Columbia University.

Ira Hirschi, 21, the daughter of a progressive Squad member, was kicked out of her dorm at Columbia University’s Barnard College after her junior was among a number of students arrested last week.

“Can you please forgive me? I have nothing but crocodile tears for this person,” Kelly said on Monday’s episode of SiriusXM’s podcast “The Megyn Kelly Show.”

Mr. Kelly had no sympathy for Mr. Hirschi. Because she “had become the public face of these protests.”

“She decided to portray her time there as if she had just been kicked out of New York’s last homeless shelter and had no food or a roof over her head,” Kelly said.

Hirschi gave interviews to MSNBC and Teen Vogue after learning she had been evicted from campus housing and banned from using the dining hall.

“I was a little panicked and thought about where I was going to sleep. Where are we going?” She told Teen Vogue. “And all my wealth gets thrown into random lots. It’s pretty bad.”

“I sent them an email saying, “We rely on campus for our meals and we rely on our meal plans.” And they said, “Oh, come pick up the pre-packaged bags of food.” “It’s okay,” she said, a few hours after I was suspended.

“There was no food assistance.”

Omar (D-Minn.) said after her arrest and suspension that she was “very proud of my daughter.”

“She organized a statewide school walkout on the 20th anniversary of Columbine at age 15, led the largest youth climate rally on Capitol Hill at age 16, and now encourages schools to stand up against protests. “We have always led with courage and compassion. This is genocide,” Omar said.
