Melania Trump Discusses Upcoming Movie and Historical Role

In an interview with Rachel Campos-Duffy, co-host of “Fox & Friends Weekend,” Melania Trump shared details about the premiere of her documentary titled “Melania.”

Notably, Melania Trump is set to make history by being the first first lady to chair a United Nations Security Council meeting, where she plans to deliver a speech focused on the role of education in promoting peace. This marks a significant moment, as it will be the first time any first lady has spoken at the Security Council, and also the first by a sitting U.S. first lady.

The U.S. will take over the presidency of the Security Council on Monday. Melania’s address will touch upon themes such as education, technology, and their links to peace and security.

A source close to her mentioned that she is likely to highlight how vital education is for achieving sustainable peace. “The first lady is redefining her role, and this event is a significant milestone for her,” the source stated. It’s quite remarkable, really, that she will be the first to address the Council, promoting the idea of empowering the younger generation through education and technology.

Michael Waltz, the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, remarked on the appropriateness of her leading this day, noting her dedication to children’s issues aligns perfectly with the United Nations’ mission of fostering lasting peace. His perspective, drawn from his experiences as a Green Beret and diplomat, reinforces the idea that education is crucial, especially for children, to ensure a peaceful future.

Melania Trump’s Initiatives

The presidency of the UN Security Council rotates monthly among its 15 member states. The council consists of five permanent members— the U.S., China, France, Russia, and the U.K.—and ten non-permanent members elected for two-year terms.

Melania’s speech arrives as she continues to advocate for children’s online safety through her “Be Best” initiative, which she introduced during the Trump administration. In 2025, she successfully rallied support for the Take It Down Act aimed at combating online abuse. This law penalizes the distribution of explicit images without consent.

Moreover, she also initiated the Presidential Artificial Intelligence Challenge, encouraging students nationwide to use their creativity and innovation skills. “Today, the world is on the brink of improved access to knowledge thanks to AI,” a source close to her suggested. It’s a fascinating time for both education and technology.

In a recent development, Melania also released an audiobook of her memoir that utilizes AI audio technology in multiple languages.
