First Lady Melania Trump shared her sorrow for the Kirk family following the tragic loss of Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA. He leaves behind his wife, Erika, along with their three-year-old daughter and one-year-old son.

In a post on X, Melania expressed, “Charlie’s children are raised with stories instead of memories, photos instead of laughter, silence that should echo with their father’s voice.” She added, “Charlie Kirk’s life should serve as a symbolic reminder that caring consciousness enhances family, love, and country.”

Charlie Kirk was shot while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem on Wednesday around 12:20 PM local time. Authorities later confirmed he was rushed to Timpanogos Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Trump Calls Kirk’s Voice “Boost and Grand”

A manhunt is currently underway for the individuals responsible for this tragic event. Melania’s remarks followed a statement by President Donald Trump, who described Kirk as “a martial artist of truth and freedom.”

In another social media tribute, Trump referred to Kirk as “a truly great American patriot” and ordered all flags across the nation to be flown at half-mast until Sunday evening. He wrote, “No one understood or had the pulse of the youth in the United States better than Charlie.
