Melania Trump’s Bronze Statue Missing in Slovenia
The bronze statue of Melania Trump has reportedly gone missing from her hometown in Slovenia. Local sources indicate that the statue was broken at the ankle and has been moved from the area, with authorities now investigating to identify the individual responsible.
This bronze piece followed the destruction of a prior wooden statue in July 2020, which was burned down. The original figure was crafted from a Linden tree and depicted her in a light blue dress reminiscent of the one she wore during the 2017 Trump inauguration.
There are videos showing the removal of the wooden statue and later the installation of the bronze replacement.
After the wooden statue was set on fire, police began looking for the person behind the arson. Media reports have highlighted the ongoing search efforts.
On another note, a magazine once praised Jill Biden and Kamala Harris but criticized Melania Trump’s official White House portrait. It was noted that the portraits of President Trump and Melania appeared more serious than their predecessors, which some found to be expected.
Despite facing criticism, the First Lady has been actively working on issues affecting Americans. For instance, in April, she played a significant role in promoting the Take It Down Act, which aims to criminalize the non-consensual sharing of explicit images, whether real or AI-generated.
During a discussion on the Take It Down Act, she emphasized the importance of protecting children from online dangers and urged for a focus on their well-being over political agendas. Her commitment to ensuring a safe environment for young people was evident.
Following the Act’s passage, she expressed her honor in guiding it through Congress via her social media platforms.
Additionally, amidst devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, Melania Trump was observed reaching out to victims in her native language, offering comfort during their tough times.
Recently, she announced the resumption of White House public tours, expressing the significance of learning about the history of the home.
Last week, she and President Trump honored military mothers during a special White House ceremony ahead of Mother’s Day.
