A bus carrying members of the Abilene Christian University football team was hit by a drunk driver Saturday night, injuring four passengers.
Two coaches, one player and the bus driver suffered minor injuries and were taken to a hospital in Lubbock, Texas, following the game against Texas Tech.
The collision occurred as the team was heading home to Abilene following a close game against the Texas Tech Red Raiders at Jones AT&T Stadium.

Video posted on social media showed a white truck at the scene with extensive damage to its front end.
According to ESPN, Lubbock police said a 19-year-old driver crashed into a bus and was charged with DUI.
“We would like to thank Texas Tech Athletic Director Kirby Hocutt, team physician Dr. Michael Fi and all of the emergency medical personnel for their assistance and treatment,” ACU's statement said. The university did not provide any further updates.

The Red Raiders were favored by 31.5 points, but the game went into overtime where Texas Tech narrowly won, 52-51.
Texas Tech led by 18 at one point and was down 11 early in the fourth quarter, but the Wildcats scored a touchdown with 4:55 left to tie the game at 42-42. After the Red Raiders scored a field goal, Abilene Christian also scored a tying goal just before the end of regulation.

The Red Raiders got the ball first in overtime, scored a touchdown and scored the extra point, and Abilene Christian answered with a touchdown, but failed on a two-point conversion that would have sealed the victory.
Texas Tech blew a 17-0 lead in last year's season opener and lost in double overtime.
