Memorial and Funeral Arrangements for Charlie Kirk Announced

Turning Point USA has revealed details for a memorial and funeral service for Charlie Kirk, co-founder of the organization.

Kirk was tragically killed at the age of 31 on suspicion of assassination by 22-year-old Tyler Robinson. The incident occurred during an open event for the TPUSA’s “American Comeback Tour” at Utah Valley University.

The funeral is set for Sunday, September 21, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, which is about a 30-minute drive from the TPUSA headquarters in Phoenix. The stadium can accommodate over 63,000 attendees.

“Through Turning Point USA, Charlie inspired tens of millions daily. He believed that the truth should never be silenced, that courage is contagious, and that freedom must be defended at all costs,” stated TPUSA. Further details about the funeral will be provided.

Before the public services, there will be a private event to honor Kirk, including a prayer vigil on Sunday in Washington, D.C.

Since his passing, various vigils have taken place across the United States to remember Kirk.

Charlie’s wife, Erica Kirk, made her first public comments since his untimely death during a live stream on YouTube on Friday evening from his office. She referred to him as the “perfect husband” and emphasized his deep love for family.

The statement continued, “Charlie was a servant of the Lord, a devoted husband, a loving father to two beautiful children, and a leader of remarkable clarity and strength. He didn’t seek influence for its own sake; rather, he dedicated his life to mentoring others, helping them grow in their faith and love for freedom, while encouraging them to protect the nation.”

Erica also shared her husband’s posthumous experiences on Instagram, which included visits from Vice President J.D. Vance and Second Lady Ushavance.

One Instagram post featured an emotional image of Erica embracing Charlie in his open casket and a video of her kissing his hand, expressing her love.

In her touching social media message, Erica stated, “They don’t realize what they’ve ignited within me. If they think my husband’s mission was significant before… they have no idea how far it will go.”
