Three Migrant Men Found Guilty of Raping Woman on British Beach

Three migrant men, including one who fled Egypt to escape a long prison sentence for murder, have been convicted of repeatedly raping a woman on a beach in Britain. This incident involved two Egyptians and an Iranian who were all found guilty of assaulting a 33-year-old woman on Brighton’s seafront in October 2025. Each of them denied the charges, insisting that the encounter was consensual and that the woman approached them for sex.

Abdullah Ahmadi, a 26-year-old Iranian, had already faced a rejection of his asylum claim before the assault occurred. However, he continued to stay in the country, residing in a government-funded migrant hotel. He was convicted on two counts of rape.

On the other hand, 25-year-old Ibrahim Alshafeh, an Egyptian, had met Ahmadi while being smuggled into the UK. He, too, was found guilty of two counts of rape, despite having his asylum application also rejected.

Finally, 20-year-old Karin Al Danasrt, also from Egypt, was convicted on four counts of rape. Al Danasrt is a convicted murderer in Egypt and is thought to have fled to avoid a long prison term, just like Ahmadi. Both of them, along with Alshafeh, lived together at Siswood House Hotel, a former wedding venue turned into a hotel for migrants post-pandemic.

According to Sussex Police, the victim was attacked on the night of October 4, taken from the beach to the back of a beach house, where the assault happened early the next morning. Authorities identified the attackers as they had visited a local nightclub that evening, and their IDs were recorded by the doorman.

Detective Chief Inspector Richard McDonagh stated, “These three predators took advantage of an extremely vulnerable woman and subjected her to a prolonged and harrowing ordeal.”

A newspaper report indicated that the woman was raped multiple times after being dragged behind a beach hut, with one of the assailants, convicted murderer Al Danasrt, recording part of the assault on his mobile phone.

Footage presented to the jury depicted Alshafeh, the Egyptian, behaving inappropriately and mocking the woman during the assault. The jury was told that Al Danasrt spit in the victim’s mouth while degrading her verbally.

During her testimony, the victim expressed her desperation, saying, “I told them to stop and they didn’t stop. I begged them to stop and they wouldn’t stop… They were evil and they ruined my life.” The prosecutor described the defendants’ mindset, suggesting they saw the complainant as an object to fulfill their desires without resistance.

After committing the crimes, the men returned to their government-funded hotel to enjoy a barbecue. They are scheduled for sentencing on July 15, with the government seeking their deportation.
