Mesa Police Investigate ‘Possible Arson’ at Tesla Dealership by Crooks Who Can’t Spell

Local police say an overnight fire at a Tesla dealer in Mesa, Arizona, is being investigated as a potential case of arson. One of the strangest aspects of crime is that the perpetrators spray “Theif” on the sides of the building, indicating that some domestic terrorists cannot spell it.

12 News Report Early on Monday morning, Mesa Police Station responded to a report of a fire at a Tesla dealer southwest of Southern Avenue and Sosaman Road. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discover that Tesla’s cyber truck was on fire, and the building was tainted by a poorly spelled destroyer.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but city police say they are treating it as a possible arson case. Federal agents reportedly responded to the scene.

If confirmed to be arson, the incident would be the latest in the growing trend of domestic terrorism targeting US Tesla facilities. In recent months, attacks on EVs led by billionaire Elon Musk have been increasing as a result of work with the Trump administration.

Owen McIntoia, 19-year-old student at the University of Massachusetts, Massachusetts, faces federal charges allegedly bombing Tesla dealers in Kansas City on spring break on March 17th.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Kansas City police officers observed smoke coming out of a grey cyber truck in the parking lot at KC Tesla Center and discovered an unbroken Molotov cocktail nearby. The fire spread to the second cyber truck, with the damaged vehicle worth $105,485 and $107,485, respectively. Two charging stations worth about $550 each were also damaged.

FBI Boston announced McIntire’s arrest and shared images of the suspected device being used in the attack. Journalist Andy Ngo allegedly claimed the suspect “looks like a trans” and wore a woman’s clothing during the incident.

In Las Vegas, 36-year-old cinematographer Paul Hion Kim has been charged with multiple counts related to a bombing attack on the Tesla Clash Center. The attack sparked at least three cars and several vehicles with windows destroyed. Slogans such as “resistance” were spray painted on site.

Investigators showed that Kim connected to the attack via DNA evidence and license plate readers and parked near the Tesla Center after the incident before speeding up. Reports say Kim was shot down a security camera with a rifle before attacking Teslas with a Molotov cocktail. One of the car’s lithium batteries reportedly exploded, increasing the fire.

The former colleague described Kim as an “nice guy” who has become increasingly radical in his political views. A colleague allegedly spoke actively about Luigi Mangion, who has been accused of killing United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York City last December.

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi issued a clear warning related to the attack, saying, “Let’s be very clear to those who still want to fire Tesla’s property. You won’t avoid us. You’ll be arrested. You’ll be charged. You’ll spend decades in the future. It’s not worth it.”
