To avoid making assumptions that are not “the reality for many people,” the British Methodist Church has asked pastors, deacons and elders to stop using “derogatory” terms such as “husband” and “wife.” I called out.

The Methodist Church has revised its “inclusive language guide'' to stop individuals from using “hurtful language'' against groups it believes are “marginalized and demonized by the common culture.'' The Church plans to update the Inclusive Language Guide every six months to remove language that may be offensive to groups considered marginalized.

The church wants its leaders to recognize that “relationships can be expressed in many different ways,” and is now asking church members and leaders to refer to couples as “partners” and “parents.” I'm looking for it.

The guidelines state that “using a person's chosen pronouns is helpful because it respects that person's identity,” which directly addresses gender issues. Additionally, the church warned its members against using terms such as “brothers and sisters” that, despite good intentions, exclude “non-binary friends.”

Additionally, the use of pronouns is encouraged in casual conversation among congregation members. According to the Christian Association, the church recommends that members contact GLAAD or Stonewall if they need further guidance on pronoun usage and the latest sanctioned language to avoid hurting the vulnerable LGBTQ+ community. He is reportedly advising people to seek advice from left-wing organizations such as .

The umbrella body of Britain's Methodist community recently published extreme language guidelines that build on a more radical movement from 2021, when the country overwhelmingly agreed to redefine marriage and implement same-sex marriage.

There is no scriptural support for the recent activities of the British Methodist Church.

The Bible is full of references to “husbands” and “wives,” as well as instructions about their responsibilities to each other and to their families.

For example, Ephesians 5:33 (NIV translation) says: “But each of you must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.”

It is clear that the Bible has been invalidated by the governing body of the Methodist Church, but it is unclear how the Church intends to treat those who dare to preach the true ethics and morals of the Bible.
