The trade came just days after Blackburn returned from the 60-day injured list with a stress reaction in his right foot.
He has a 7.11 ERA in his past six starts but earned the win in his first start since returning on Friday, giving up four runs on five hits and striking out two in Oakland’s win over the Angels.
