In the Mets’ shutout exhibition tie against the Cardinals on Thursday in Jupiter, Florida, Brett Batty made two leaping grabs on line drives to help preserve Jose Butt’s fourth shutout. .

Batty has been solid defensively this spring, with eight hits in 32 at-bats (.250 batting average) and one home run.
