In an obvious attempt to appease US officials seeking tariffs and punitive measures against Mexico due to their alleged role in protecting drug cartels, authorities in the country confirmed the extradition of 29 criminals the US Department of Justice had hoped for. These include the top drug boss behind the 1985 murder of DEA Agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena, two supreme leaders of the Los Zetas Cartel, and the brothers of the supreme leaders of the Cartel Jalisco New Generation.
On Thursday afternoon, the Mexican Attorney General's Office confirmed the extradition of 29 wanted criminals who were all detained in various Mexican prisons. The extradition confirmation came at the same time that the Mexican security cabinet was meeting Secretary of State Marco Rubio and his staff and his staff over their response to the drug cartel.

The extradition fugitives include Rafael Carroquintero, one of the leaders of the Guadalajara Cartel. The crime organization is considered the root of most of the western Mexican cartels, including the Sinaloa cartel, the Juarez cartel and the Tijuana cartel. As reported by Breitbart Texas, Caro Quintero is sought in the United States for his role as one of the masterminds behind DEA agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena's temptation and the horrifying murder in 1985.

Breitbart Texas reported that extraditioned criminals also included Miguel Angel “Z-40” and Omar “Z-42” Trevino Morales.
The fourth wanted crime boss extradited is Antonio “Tony Montana” Osseguera Cervantes, brother of the supreme leader of the Cartel Jalisco New Generation (CJNG), one of Mexico's most powerful and sadistic drug cartels.

The extradition comes as part of several other moves by Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum. He and her cabinet are trying to avoid the Trump administration's tariff levies on the White House's allegations that Mexico conspired to protect drug cartels.
