Filmmaker Michael Moore has recently accused President Donald Trump of making threats against Iran that, he argues, are reminiscent of the Holocaust. Moore claims that Democratic leaders are complicit in this situation. He described the Democratic Party as a “so-called opposition” that has, in his view, enabled violence in Gaza while failing to stand against Trump’s approach to Iran.
Moore stated that it’s not merely cowardice but a sign of actual support for the conflict from Democratic leadership. He then criticized Trump for his warning to Iran, suggesting that the President’s rhetoric could lead to catastrophic consequences. Moore highlighted the historical significance of Iran, labeling it as one of the world’s oldest civilizations and pointed out that, during earlier centuries, its contributions to human rights and science were unparalleled.
He also insisted that the animosity is not driven by Iran’s government towards Americans, but rather America’s longstanding hostility towards Iran. “We are the bad guys!” he proclaimed, claiming that Trump’s presidency has revealed a darker side of America.
Moore then called for active public dissent against the government’s military actions, urging citizens to demand impeachment and halt military aggression. He concluded with a plea for consideration of the issues he raised.
Fox News Digital has reached out to both the White House and Senator Chuck Schumer’s office for a response, but none has been forthcoming as of now.
