Caleb Williams ‘Inevitable’, Jaguars ‘Could Get the 1-Seed’, Will the Eagles Offense Be Fixed?
Caleb Williams is reportedly “likely” to be on the field for the Chicago Bears this Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, noting a change in his Instagram bio to “I’m inevitable.” Nick Wright, Chris Broussard, Kevin Wildes, and Danny Parkins shared their thoughts on what fans can expect from Williams and the Bears this weekend. They also highlighted some impressive statistics as Week 6 approaches. In addition, Danny and Greg looked at how the top quarterbacks in the NFL are performing, covering players like Bryce Young, Jared Goff, and Dak Prescott.
In Week 3, Michael Penix Jr. made an exciting debut for the Atlanta Falcons, leading them to their first victory of the season. His performance continued in the next game, where he threw for 223 yards, while Bijan Robinson added 145 rushing yards as they defeated the New Orleans Saints decisively.
However, there was a concerning moment during Atlanta’s Week 6 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens when Penix took a hard sack, temporarily leaving the game. Fortunately, he returned quickly but did not participate in overtime due to rib pain, leaving fans and analysts questioning if he had sustained a new injury.

After an MRI, Falcons head coach Kevin Stefanski indicated that Penix was slated to start on Sunday unless any issues arose. As of Friday, there were no injury concerns listed for Penix, and he was fully cleared to play this weekend.
Penix has been active in practice all week, and Stefanski expressed confidence that there wouldn’t be a need for special precautions for his ribs during the game. The head coach also mentioned that the game plan for the Bears wouldn’t be altered significantly.
Michael Penix Jr Likely Starting for Falcons Against Bears Despite Rib Injury
Penix has played a crucial role in the Falcons’ scoring 80 points across Weeks 3 and 4. It’s important to note his history with injuries, which goes back to his college days. He suffered a serious ACL injury last November and has since had surgery. This season, he has thrown for 719 yards and recorded three touchdowns.
On the other hand, Caleb Williams’ availability for the Bears in Atlanta remains uncertain. He has been out for the last three games due to a hamstring injury, but coach Ben Johnson mentioned that Williams was fully participating in practice. Yet, Williams clarified that a final decision on his return hadn’t been made yet.
“Before you start asking, I don’t know if I’m playing yet,” Williams told reporters. He emphasized that he still needed to complete various medical protocols and pass stress tests as he returns from injury. Additionally, he expressed frustration over how the media has reported on his situation, declaring that every report had been wrong and specifying that he had faced a “pretty serious” hamstring tear.
“There’s nothing that has come out that has been right about what it is and what it has been,” he added.
