The Obamas shared a family picture featuring all of them together on Thanksgiving, which comes after addressing rumors surrounding their marriage following a period spent apart.
In the joyful snapshot, Barack and Michelle Obama have their arms around each other, with their daughters, Sasha and Malia, by their side. Barack posted the photo on his wife’s account, mentioning the importance of giving back during this festive season.
Earlier this year, speculation arose about their relationship status. This was fueled by Michelle not accompanying Barack to former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral and also skipping President Trump’s inauguration, leading to questions about potential marital issues.
However, during a July appearance on Michelle’s podcast, the couple humorously addressed these rumors. Upon arriving, Barack greeted Michelle with a kiss, playfully teasing her brother, Craig Robinson, about the gossip.
Robinson jokingly asked, “Wait, do you guys like each other?” To which Michelle quickly dismissed the rumors, saying, “That’s just hearsay.”
Barack chimed in, jokingly mentioning that Michelle had saved him during difficult times in their marriage. Once settled, she made it clear that thoughts of divorce had never crossed her mind, stating, “At no point in our marriage did I consider ending my relationship with my boyfriend.”
The couple marked their 33rd anniversary in October, and Barack celebrated with a heartfelt selfie of them together. In his post, he expressed, “The best decision I ever made was to marry you.”
The shared Thanksgiving photo sparked some chatter online, with people speculating about Michelle potentially using the weight loss drug Ozempic. She was seen in a fitted top that drew attention to her appearance, leading to discussions about noticeable weight loss after behind-the-scenes footage circulated on social media.
