Michelle Obama embellishes claim about Barack needing ’30 stitches’ for busted lip while he was in White House

Michelle Obama claimed that her husband, former President Barack Obama, needed an incredible “30 stitches” on his lips just before his major speech when he needed less than half of that after suffering basketball-related injuries in his first term.

The former first lady made an unfair claim to her brother Craig Robinson in the pair’s most “IMO” podcast episode. There we revisited the embarrassing 2010 Barak anecdotes from a White House pickup basketball game.

Michelle characterized every ordeal in her husband the moment “I told you”; “I always say, ‘Play basketball carefully. You shouldn’t play now. You’re doing a really important job,” Michelle said of her warning of ignorance.

The White House said at the time of the accident, President Obama received only 12 needles to close his cut lip.

Michelle said the episode attempted to prohibit Barak from playing the hoops while he was Commander-in-Chief.
