Michelle Obama is ‘terrified about what could possibly happen’ in 2024 election

Michelle Obama said in an interview published Monday that she fears “what will happen” in the 2024 presidential election.

The former first lady admitted her fear in response to a question from host Jay Shetty. during an episode of his podcast.

“What's keeping you up at night right now, or what's your biggest fear now that you've been through so much?” Shetty asked Obama.

“It has less to do with me personally and more to do with the world we live in,” she replied.

She described the anxiety that comes with being in the White House.

“There's such a thing as knowing too much,” said Obama, 59. “When you're married to the president of the United States, who knows everything about the world, sometimes you just want to erase it.” “What keeps me going is what I know.”

The lawyer and author listed a number of specific concerns she has, including ongoing wars, the potential impact of AI on humans, and climate change.

She also said she worries about people voting and wonders why they aren't voting.

“Those are the things that keep me going, because you can't control it and you wonder where we are in this, where our hearts are.”Next What will happen in the election? ” President Obama said on a podcast.

“I fear what will happen because our leaders matter, who we elect, who speaks for us, who holds the bully pulpit. “It's affecting us in ways that people sometimes take for granted,” she continued.

The Harvard Law School graduate and mother of two said many people don't realize how much the government does for its residents.
