Hutchins added that she is aware of Trachtenberg's health issues and that the actress has been directly involved in a gala supporting mental health charities, effectively reported by the outlet.
“The release was not planned because I knew it would be the last decision if she had aimed for it,” Hutchins said, adding that the “Harriet the Spy” actress finished her voice job for the film in 2021.
The film was released last year after delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic. TMZ reported.
In her final film credits, the “Ice Princess” star reads an excerpt from the diary of Michelle Cody White, the late wife of Randall White, who suffered from undiagnosed bipolar depression before her death.
“I am very saddened by Michelle's loss,” Hutchins told people in a statement, explaining that she felt the actress was an advocate for mental health awareness.
“She was so connected to this story and the late Michelle Cody White. She could really say that she had hit her in her heart because she called out and rested and wiped away her tears and that she had given it all to the moment,” she continued.
“When you watch this film, you can hear the real trembling as Michelle's voice reads Michelle Cody White's diary and excerpts from magazines.”
Hutchins saw the former child actress as a sweet person who called the story of a talkative, cat-loving, and enthusiastically shared “inspiration.”

The “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” actress was discovered by her mother at Wan Columbus Place, a luxurious 51-storey apartment in Manhattan's Central Park South neighborhood around 8am Wednesday.
Her body is believed to have refused a liver transplant, and received it last year.
