Israel's newly appointed defense minister, Israel Katz, said there was no “ceasefire” or “rest” in Lebanon, which has been hit by Israeli airstrikes and ground invasions in recent weeks. More than 3,000 people were killed.

At least 14 people killed in Gaza in Israeli attack, many in one of the IDF's “humanitarian” zones
