An immigrant is accused of possessing child sexual abuse materials depicting a 5-year-old boy, Miami-Dade police said.
Dario Jose Cajapefarias is a 26-year-old immigrant with two prior Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) holds. arrested He was also charged with three counts of possessing child sexual abuse material.
Miami-Dade police said Cajapefarias had saved footage of the abuse on his personal Facebook account. The footage depicts three boys, two aged 5 to 7 and one aged 7 to 10, being sexually abused.
Miami-Dade police said the boys' abusers may have recorded the footage, and Kahapefarias may have saved the footage to his Facebook account.
At the time of his arrest, Kajapefarias was living near Cutler Ridge Elementary School in Cutler Bay, Florida, a town of about 45,000 people.
The immigrants are being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. It is unclear when Kahapefalías first arrived in the United States or under what immigration status, if any, he arrived.
