Migrant Accused of Setting Texas House on Fire with Three Kids Inside

A Venezuelan immigrant has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly intentionally setting a house on fire with three children inside in Fulshear, Texas.

Pedro Luis Parra Pulgar, a 46-year-old Venezuelan immigrant, Paid This month, there were three attempted murder charges and one arson charge after a house fire.

On Nov. 6, Pulgar is suspected of setting fire to a home located about 55 miles west of downtown Houston, Fulshear police said.

Pulger's three children, two 15-year-olds and one 3-year-old, were trapped inside the burning house. The two teenagers were able to escape on their own while officers rescued the 3-year-old, who suffered serious injuries from smoke inhalation.

The 3-year-old was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The child was then discharged from the hospital.

Pulgar, Venezuelan immigration He was with an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainee when he was injured in a house fire and was treated at a nearby hospital before being discharged on Dec. 12.

Pulgar's bond is set at $2.25 million. He remains in custody at the Fort Bend County Jail.
