Mypillow CEO Mike Lindell is said to have stiffened FedEx with nearly $9 million delivery fees.
According to a lawsuit filed in federal court in Memphis last week, the delivery giant accused Pillow Pusher of breach of contract for failing to pay $8.8 million.
Mypillow and Fedex's business relationship began in February 2021, court documents show.
However, by December last year, FedEx had stopped shipping Mypillow products due to non-payment. At that time, Lindell's company was owing about $8.5 million. According to court documents.
Lindell could not immediately comment.
“We will not comment further on the pending lawsuit,” a FedEx spokesperson told the post.
The legal dispute follows the January ruling by a Minnesota judge, which means Mypillow will have to pay DHL nearly $778,000 for outstanding bills and related costs.
Court records show Mypillow agreed to pay DHL $550,000 in October but failed to comply with the payment and did not send representatives to a hearing on debt collection last month.
Lindell responded to the DHL lawsuit by stating that Mypillow had ceased to use its delivery service more than a year ago due to issues arising from processing DHL shipments.
Lindell also remains caught up in a legal battle over his claims regarding the 2020 presidential election.
He is sued for honor loss by two voting technology companies, the Dominion Voting System in Washington, DC, and SmartMatic in Minnesota.
His defense in these cases was hit last year when the lawyers representing him withdrew from a lawsuit over unpaid legal costs.
Mypillow has faced major financial difficulties in recent years, especially after losing massive revenue when Fox News stopped airing commercials.
Additionally, several major domestic retailers have stopped using MyPillow products, putting even more strain on the company's cash flow.
Lindell also suffered a legal defeat in February when a judge upheld a $5 million arbitration award given to software experts who successfully rebutted Lindell's claim that China had interfered in the 2020 election.
