Miley Cyrus Celebrates Career Milestone with Hollywood Walk of Fame Star
Miley Cyrus, at 33 years old, recently celebrated a significant achievement in her career by receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The event took place on Friday, where she appeared in a striking black Versace dress. The outfit featured a halter neckline, sheer cutouts, and a decorative spiderweb lace design that playfully covered certain parts of her body.
She kept her accessories simple, wearing just a few rings and bracelets. Her blonde locks were styled straight, and her makeup included a dark smoky eye and natural lipstick. It was quite the look for the occasion.
Cyrus expressed her thoughts during the ceremony, emphasizing what this honor means to her. “What’s special to me about this star is that it’s a culmination of dedication and hard work,” she remarked. She went on to clarify that stars aren’t prizes or trophies to collect but a testament to commitment and perseverance. “My name is carved in gold and pink terrazzo, and it’s fierce and fun and amazing,” she added.
Among those present for this memorable event were her fiancé Max Morando, her mother Tish, and sister Brandi. Notably, designer Donatella Versace and actress Anya Taylor-Joy spoke in her honor during the ceremony. Taylor-Joy praised Cyrus for not just meeting but exceeding public expectations, stating she has “challenged the rules and sometimes even wore a teddy bear costume to stir things up.”
Cyrus’s journey in the spotlight began when she was just 13, landing the lead role in the beloved Disney Channel series “Hannah Montana.” She recalls, “Hannah Montana is the beginning of everything I’ve become. The person I’ve become,” emphasizing how integral the character has been in shaping her identity.
Since the show concluded in 2011, Cyrus transitioned to a successful music career, releasing nine studio albums and earning three Grammy Awards along the way. Recently, she marked the 20th anniversary of “Hannah Montana,” celebrating it with a special on Disney Plus.
