The federal agency tasked with managing the military draft database reshared profane social media posts, amplifying Democratic rhetoric comparing President-elect Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler.

The original post, written by a user named “SloJoe,” read: “You idiots who still believe military service is voluntary. Think back to Germany in 1936.”
The post was apparently a reference to Hitler's March 1935 decision to reinstate conscription in Germany, in direct violation of the Treaty of Versailles. A year later, Hitler ordered 3,000 German troops to occupy the Rhineland, a demilitarized zone bordering France.
“What's going on with the @SSS_gov X account?” a CBS News report said, pointing out the station's vulgar repost.
The post remained on the New York Post's page for more than an hour before being removed, according to the New York Post.
In June, President Trump accused the Washington Post of “coming up with the ridiculous idea” of “calling for mandatory military service.”
“This story is completely false. In fact, I never thought of it,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
U.S. law requires nearly all men between the ages of 18 and 25 to enroll in the Selective Service System.

Selective Service's latest social media gaffe comes in the wake of a wave of repeated claims from the left that Trump is a “fascist.”
