Miss Panama beauty queen Isamar Herrera’s embarrassing mistake on stage becomes a viral sensation, leaving viewers uncomfortable.

A video featuring a beauty pageant contestant has gained significant attention online after an awkward incident occurred on stage, leaving many viewers disappointed.

Izamar Herrera, who represented Panama, was participating in the Miss Grand International pageant in Thailand when she experienced a notable blunder that she won’t soon forget.

During the coronation night, the 31-year-old shared the stage with 76 other contestants from around the globe. As the host began announcing the final 22 participants, the camera captured Herrera stepping forward, beaming with joy.

The atmosphere shifted abruptly, plunging the audience into an uncomfortable silence.

In the midst of the excitement, a misunderstanding unfolded, prompting the announcer to clarify the situation quickly.

“Oh, sorry, we’ve announced Miss Grand Paraguay,” he stated, addressing the crowd filled with fans from various countries.

She then had to walk back to her original position while the actual winner, Paraguay’s Cecilia Romero, celebrated on stage.

This unfortunate moment has sparked immense support for Herrera on social media, with one TikTok video alone attracting nearly 5 million views.

“Panama, Canada, and Paraguay sound alike. Let’s not blame her,” one commenter noted.

Another suggested that language barriers might have played a role in the confusion.

One person expressed sympathy, saying, “I’m from Paraguay, and I felt bad about what happened.”

Another viewer found the video “painful to watch” but expressed hope that Herrera would recover from the incident.

“You deserve recognition for being a good candidate. I believe better things are ahead for you,” someone added.

A different comment reflected on the moment, saying, “Poor girl, I wish someone had prepared her before she stepped forward.”

Fortunately, Herrera appears to be handling the situation gracefully.

“Mistakes happen in competitions,” she later remarked. “One must know how to accept losses and celebrate others’ successes.”

Emma Tiglao, aged 30 and from Pampanga, ultimately took the crown as the 2025 Miss Grand International winner.

The other finalists included Sarunrat Puagpipat from Thailand in first place, Aitana Jimenez from Spain in second, Faith Porter from Ghana in third, and Nariman Batika from Venezuela in fourth.
