Authorities in South Carolina are searching for a missing 20-year-old woman from Pendleton, a small town just 10 minutes outside of Clemson, who was last seen in early August.
Pendleton police say Jessica Barnes was last seen leaving her home on Aug. 1 and they are asking for help in locating her.
On Facebook, a man identifying himself as Barnes' husband – who has not been named as a suspect in the case – commented on the Pendleton Police Department's missing person flyer for Barnes.
“If anyone sees my wife please let me or the police know. I've been feeling very numb lately. [sic]” the man wrote on Facebook.[I] I thought she would say something or come home. I am trying to believe in God but it is really hard when things get this serious. We lost our son a few months ago and my wife is also missing. I am really trying to believe in God. I am praying that she is okay. [sic]”
