Mitch McConnell’s Ambulance Incident Revealed in Footage
Recently released footage shows former Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on an ambulance gurney after being transported from his home last month. This incident was reported after authorities responded to a call regarding an “unconscious person.”
A neighbor witnessed McConnell emerging from his house around 8:30 a.m. on June 14, only to encounter two ambulances and a fire truck, while Capitol Police blocked off the street. The neighbor recorded the unfolding scene from a distance, capturing only McConnell’s bare feet, which were visible beneath an orange blanket once he was inside the ambulance.
As the situation developed, neighbors inquired about the incident, and responders informed them it was a “medical emergency.”
According to another neighbor, who claims to have seen McConnell’s face, there was no oxygen mask present when he was taken away. Details regarding his hospitalization remain vague. After his admission, a spokesperson stated that he was in the hospital and receiving “excellent care.”
Weeks have passed, yet McConnell’s team hasn’t provided in-depth details regarding the senator’s health or the circumstances that led to his hospitalization. Friends and former colleagues mentioned they had spoken with him recently, but no specific updates emerged.
In a surprising turn, Laura Loomer, a conservative figure, shared this week that an unnamed “high-level source close to the White House” claimed McConnell is “brain dead” and unlikely to return to Congress.
McConnell’s term is set to conclude in January 2027, and he has already announced he won’t pursue reelection after spending 41 years in the Senate. Notably, he reportedly holds the record for being the longest-serving Senate leader in U.S. history, surpassing even the long tenures of Robert C. Byrd and Chuck Grassley.
