Former Angels and Reds All-Star shortstop Zack Cozart voiced his support for former President Donald Trump ahead of his speech at the Republican National Convention on Thursday.
The former player posted a photo of himself on the golf course wearing a red, white and blue Trump hat.

Cozart also said he “can’t wait to vote for Trump.”
“I don’t know about you guys but I can’t wait to vote for Trump…I honestly have never seen a party more united than it is right now…They tried to kill our President…All we can do is vote!!” he wrote.

Cozart played professional baseball for eight years after being selected in the second round by the Reds in 2007. He was an All-Star for the Reds in 2017, hitting 24 home runs, 63 RBIs and a batting average of .297.
He played his final two seasons with the Angels, appearing in 839 games and recording 305 RBIs and 87 home runs.
