MLB Great Roger Clemens Taunts Celebs Who Promised to Leave if Trump Won

To the celebrities, pundits, and influencers who promised to leave the United States if Donald Trump was re-elected, Roger Clemens is keeping his promise.

“Who said, 'If Trump wins, I'll leave America'…try not to hit the door on the way home,” the seven-time Cy Young Award winner wrote in X.

“Rocket” also contained words praising the American people.

Former MLB star Jonathan Lucroy praised President Trump's election as “the dawn of a new era.”

“It is the dawn of a new era,” Lucroy wrote in X. “What a blessing to live in this great country where we get to vote for change every four years. Last night, the silent majority spoke out. I woke up.”

“You know what's the weirdest thing? How the other side thinks it's okay to sexualize children and allow men into women's sports and restrooms,” he continued. “Isn’t that strange?

“Last night, one commenter said we were 'self-corrected' as a nation. The people, we the people, went to deal with the epidemic that hit us,” he said, adding: , “Today I'm so proud to be an American. I look forward to watching Trump, Elon, RFK, and others clear out the swamp that is our government.”

Trump received significant support from professional athletes during the campaign. 49ers star Nick Bosa interrupted an on-field interview to don a MAGA hat. The families of Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa and running back Raheem Mostert all expressed support for the former and soon-to-be president.

President Trump has won or is on his way to winning 312 electoral votes. He broke the “blue wall” and flipped Georgia, which Biden won in 2020, and is on track to flip Arizona and Nevada as well.

Mr. Trump's victory is complete and he currently leads the popular vote by more than 4.6 million people.
