‘Mob Wives’ star Renee Graziano overdosed on fentanyl: ‘I was dead’

Renee Graziano has opened up about her struggle with addiction, which nearly killed her last year.

The Yakuza Housewives star, who recently celebrated four months of sobriety, admitted that he “died at a restaurant in Florida” after ingesting a substance believed to be cocaine. The drug turned out to be fentanyl, and she overdosed.

While chatting on Bunnie XO’s podcast Dumb Blonde, Graziano said it’s been a tough year, saying, “I couldn’t get on the air. Everything started piling up.”

Graziano’s drug history began at an early age. The daughter of Anthony Graziano, a former consigliere of the Bonanno crime family, Renee was already using cocaine at the age of 14, and by the time she was 16 she was dating one of Staten Island’s biggest drug dealers. Ta.

She spent her life on and off drugs, but in May 2023 she decided to give sobriety another chance.

“I lost someone I loved,” she said. “I was sober in June, July, August and September 18th. … Someone handed me a bag of fentanyl when it was supposed to be cocaine.

“I died in a restaurant in Florida. I was dead.

“I was intubated for three days. None of my family came to the hospital. I spent nine days there learning how to walk again. That was it. I said OK. . I’ve always been afraid of heroin. I’ve never been afraid of heroin. I’ve touched it, but I’ve never done anything like that.”

Graziano recalled that her father’s sister was an addict and died of HIV. “But she was sober for many years before she passed away. For me, that was always about it, that was everything to me,” she said. “And I thought, ‘Okay, I’m really going to die.'”

Graziano admitted he had no recollection of the overdose or the days when he was intubated at the hospital.

“Three days just went out of my mind,” she told Jelly Roll’s wife. She said: “She doesn’t remember anything and was told she wasn’t going to pass.”

When asked why no one came to visit him at the hospital, Graziano said he harbored no ill will toward his family.

“I don’t blame them. I put them through hell. When my father died… they said if I had shock therapy, I wouldn’t be sad anymore. So I did it,” Graziano said. said. “I went through six sessions and my brain was destroyed. My addiction got really bad. This is the first time I’ve ever said that.

“I would have done anything to take away that pain. As you get older, it’s hard to understand who you are, and it makes you sad and lonely.”

Bunny said Graziano’s story could help those struggling with addiction.

Graziano said ketamine treatment had been “phenomenal” in relieving her anxiety, and she no longer takes anti-anxiety drugs.

Her “dear friend” Lamar Odom offered to help her at his Vanity Wellness Treatment Center in California. Graziano is focused on her mental health and sobriety, and she now works at the center with Odom.
