Police released those images to the public and received information from a reliable source, the boys’ mother, by Wednesday morning, just 24 hours after the shooting. The woman did not wish to reveal her identity, but claimed she immediately recognized the suspects as her 17- and 18-year-old sons after looking at her photo.
