More artists and performers have cancelled the show in protest against President Donald Trump at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts Center in DC, the report alleges.
Earlier this month, the president acted to revamp the Center's leadership by announcing that he would fire Deborah F. Lutter and appointed him as the Center's chairman.
Since then, leftists in the entertainment world have been helping out with the proposed changes, with many urging artists to cancel the show in protest. And almost immediately, more and more liberal entertainers announced that they had resigned from their roles at the center, including Shonda Rhymes, Ben Fold and Rene Fleming.
The changes seem to have had an impact on ticket sales. Washington Post Ticket sales claimed to have fallen 50% since Trump announced plans to revamp the Kennedy Center.
Now, even more liberal celebrities are making comments. He played the show, but this weekend, racebait comedian W. Kamaubel announcement That he won't do another show at the Kennedy Center for Trump; Washington Post It has been reported.
But Bell did his duty, but not many others. By some names, comedian Issa Ray cancelled her show, novelist Louise Penny cancelled her appearance there, so did singers Adam Weiner and Amanda Learm
On Wednesday, the center cancelled a gay pride concert scheduled to feature a chorus of gay men in Washington, further enraged the left.
Cancellation drove a small group of awakened protesters to march outside the Kennedy Center to protest Trump's move.
Meanwhile, it was revealed that the Kennedy Center has taken all the cash and has nothing in its bank account.
Trump had tapped former German ambassador Richard Grenell to serve as interim president of the Kennedy Center. He found a disturbing fact. After meeting with the centre representatives, he discovered that the organization had “zero” cash and “zero” in hand in the reserve.
“Today, the Kennedy Center CFO explained its financial situation,” Grenell said. “She told me she had zero cash in her hand. Zero of the reserve. And the postponed maintenance is a crisis. Over the past few months they've been digging into their debt reserves.”
“We need to fix this amazing institution,” Grenell added. “People who work hard at the nation's best performing arts centers deserve better, and so do all Americans.”
