More mysterious drones spotted over New Jersey’s Bergen County

More mysterious drones have been spotted “flying back and forth” over New Jersey as government officials assure residents of the Garden State they have nothing to fear, according to a new video.

The video is Photographed by New Jersey mom and shared on Xshowing flashing lights buzzing over Bergen County Sunday night.

“They're just going back and forth very slowly,” the mother said in the video.

“It's not a plane…no, it's too quiet. It's a drone,” she said, adding that she counted “about five or six” flying machines.

A spate of drone sightings across New Jersey has raised alarm among local residents, who have taken several videos of unidentified aircraft and posted them on social media in recent weeks, prompting local officials to is giving me a headache.

But despite the embarrassment for authorities, Gov. Phil Murphy said residents had nothing to worry about and the apparent drones posed no immediate threat.

“Unfortunately, we don't have many answers. We don't want to speculate or hypothesize what's going on,” said FBI spokeswoman Amy J. Thoreson. he told NJ.com on Wednesday.

“We're doing everything we can to figure it out.”

“The best way to figure this out is if someone can figure these things out really well,” he said, adding that the large size of some drones suggests that recreational groups may not be behind the incident. He added that this shows that this is not the case.

“You can't knock these things out of the sky,” he continued.
