More than 1 million Georgia voters have already cast their ballots in the 2024 presidential election, said Gabriel Sterling, chief of staff to Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
Sterling made the announcement Friday, the fourth day of early voting in the Peach State.
“We did it! At around 11:50 a.m., we surpassed 1 million people who voted,” he announced, touting “an amazing turnout!”
“I'm really happy for the county and the voters! Let's keep it going,” he urged.
The news comes as Georgia voters broke records on the first day of early voting on Tuesday, as detailed by former Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.).
“The previous record for first-day voting was 136,000 votes, but we blew that away with over 300,000 votes,” she said during an appearance on the show. Breitbart News Daily on Thursday. “Since yesterday, it was 550,000 people.” [who] I voted. ”
“That's about 10% of the state voting in the first two days,” she said, noting that the last day of early voting is typically the largest voting day.
“But we also broke that record,” Loeffler said, predicting what would likely be “unprecedented turnout in this election.”
Voter turnout match The ECU poll has been released, showing Trump with a 3-point lead over Vice President Kamala Harris in the Peach State. He received 49 percent support and Harris 46 percent.

Overall, 52% of potential voters in Georgia have a very favorable or somewhat favorable opinion of Donald Trump, compared to 46% who have a very favorable or somewhat favorable opinion of Kamala Harris. I have a somewhat favorable opinion. Additionally, 49% of potential voters in Georgia have a very favorable or somewhat favorable opinion of Republican vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance, and 47% of Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz. have a very favorable or somewhat favorable opinion.
Trump's 3-point lead over Harris in Georgia is due to his strength among male voters. Among women, Ms. Harris leads Mr. Trump by 8 points, 52% to 44%, but Mr. Trump holds a much larger lead among men, 18 points, 56% to 38%. Mr. Trump also has a high approval rating among older people (65 and older), with a 10-point lead over Ms. Harris in this demographic, 54% to 44%. By comparison, Ms. Harris leads Mr. Trump among young voters (ages 18 to 29), 50% to 41%. Georgia voters are further divided by education level. Among people with a four-year college degree or higher, Ms. Harris leads Mr. Trump 53% to 39%. Among those without a four-year college degree, Trump leads Harris, 56% to 41%.
The survey was conducted from October 9th to 14th, 2024 and has a margin of error of +/- 4%.
Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Whatley said Friday. Breitbart News Daily Republicans said they were “very pleased” with early voting results in states such as Georgia and North Carolina, the latter of which saw Republicans seeing “record first-day turnout.”
“We're seeing some very positive and upbeat results. North Carolina, which just arrived yesterday in Georgia, saw record first-day Republican turnout, but we've seen it in the first few days here. The numbers were very, very positive,” Mr Whatley said.
