Morgan Riddle reflected on a joyful moment even after her boyfriend, Taylor Fritz, lost to Novak Djokovic in the US Open Quarter Finals with a score of 6-3, 7-5, 3-6, 6-4 on Tuesday night.
In her Instagram Stories, she shared a throwback of a viral moment from last year’s Grand Slam, enjoying honeydew cocktails at the Grey Goose suite in Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Interestingly, Riddle had previously dated Bills quarterback Josh Allen before his engagement to actress Haley Steinfeld, indicating that she was in the spotlight at the event last September.
Fritz, who was the runner-up in the 2024 US Open, had lost to Italian Jannik Sinner in the men’s singles final last year, ending with scores of 6-3, 6-4, 7-5.
In other posts, Riddle celebrated alongside friends, including influencers Tessab Looks and Brigid Duffy, after Fritz secured a win over Tomas Machac in the 16th round.
“We just had to return to the Grey Goose Suite for some honey deuce,” Riddle said, clearly enjoying the atmosphere.
It’s worth noting that Fritz’s losing streak against Djokovic now stands at 0-11, which adds a bit of tension to his matches.
This time, Fritz was the sole American remaining in the Men’s Singles draw at the US Open.
