The long-running show, hosted by Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, is down 35% in total viewers, averaging just 720,000 viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research, and the advertiser-coveted 25. Among viewers aged ~54, there was a 37% decrease.
Ratings declined further after Scarborough and Brzezinski revealed their Mar-a-Lago meeting with President-elect Donald Trump last month, with a 17% decline in total viewers since its Nov. 18 broadcast. Viewership in the key demo was down by more than a third.
