Most Republicans in new poll believe Trump’s legal cases are being handled ‘unfairly’

In a recent poll, a majority of Republicans said they believed the investigation into former President Trump was being conducted “unfairly.”

In a new study, Released on Friday by YouGov, found that of the four criminal charges President Trump is facing, more than 66 percent of Republicans believe the cases are being handled “unfairly.” By comparison, 70% of Democrats disagreed and said they disagreed.

YouGov also found that a majority of Americans believe that four cases were at least somewhat serious, with 28% likely favoring the hush money case and the rest receiving at least 41% support. It is considered to be excluded.

According to the survey, Democrats were more likely than independents or Republicans to say each case was serious; respondents were also more likely to think Trump should be convicted; He didn’t really believe Trump would be found guilty.

Overall, the numbers have remained relatively unchanged since December, when this survey was last conducted.

President Trump’s legal troubles will play out in courtrooms across the country this year amid his campaign to return to the White House. He is defending himself against a total of 91 criminal charges spread across four indictments. Apart from that, he is also a party to more than six civil cases.

The YouGov poll was conducted online among 1,000 U.S. adults between January 25 and 29, and has a margin of error of 4 percentage points.
