Most voters in new survey say Trump cares about interests of rich over Harris

A majority of American adults say former President Donald Trump is more attentive to the needs and issues of wealthy Americans than Vice President Harris, a new survey finds.

of Recent YouGov polls The survey found that nearly two-thirds (63%) of American adults said Mr. Trump is considerate of the needs of the wealthy, compared to 25% for Ms. Harris.

Broken down by party, 30% of Democrats and 21% of Republicans said Harris was considering the interests of America's wealthy. The survey found that 69% of Democrats and 63% of Republicans said the same about Trump.

Despite these numbers, most Americans believe that Harris won most of the districts listed, with the exception of white voters, people living in rural and suburban areas, Christian Americans, and male voters. He said he is more focused on profits.

The former president outnumbered the Democratic candidate among white voters, 51% to 29%. He also holds a narrow lead among rural voters, 29% to 28%, and among suburban voters, 28% to 27%. According to the pollster, Trump has a lead over Harris among Christians, 36% to 26%.

He leads among male voters, winning 45% of the vote compared to 25% for the vice president. But Harris has an advantage with women, with 48% saying she cares about women's needs, compared with the 28% who said the same about President Trump, the poll found.

The vice president also outperforms Mr. Trump among black Americans, older and younger voters, the middle class and poor, people with college degrees, and urban voters, according to the data.

With just days left in the White House race, Harris leads Trump by a slim margin of 48.3% to 48%, according to a Hill/Decision Desk poll.

The YouGov poll surveyed 1,126 American adults between October 10th and 14th. The margin of error for the entire sample was approximately 4 percentage points.
